ASSIGNMENT ~ TEXAS BORDER, now on Amazon

 ASSIGNMENT ~ TEXAS BORDER

New price on Amazon, the 4th in Series of Agent and His Writer is now available and awaiting your eager eyes and bodies with a new assignment in Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Chasing a new Cartel Leader, Jenny and Doug, working undercover (and undercovers) revisit their honeymoon site and friends to seek knowledge and hopefully save innocent women and children from the grips of cartels hell bent to use them to increase their already full pockets from drug money.

This is the sequel to Assignment ~ Côte d'Azur, which was the sequel to Assignment ~ NOLA, which was the sequel to Assignment ~ LOVE. These forerunners are about Jennifer Lee Stewart who was and always has been a writer. Her work began as a reporter for the local newspaper during and after college, and once married and pregnant, in Baton Rouge, she began writing for API as a freelance writer. Douglas Campbell Nelson, shares with her that his credentials include being a CPA for the government, and finds he must warn her on her first night in her new home that their neighbors could be a danger to her.
In Assignment ~ NOLA, Jenny and Doug are now married and Doug is asked to assist an old Marine buddy/ex FBI Agent/Friend who is attempting to determine if the Football Bounty problem is true or not midst the Saints Football Team in New Orleans. Great food, a kidnap, a 300-year-old River Plantation with a ghost, which takes over Jenny at every opportunity, and fantastic sex between the newlyweds, keeps Assignment ~ NOLA humming along until the surprising end.
Next, in Assignment ~Côte d'AzurDoug and Jenny are asked by the FBI to follow up on their OP-Mission Interception found in Assignment ~ Love with a new mission in Algeciras, Spain. It seems the Mexican cartel which is run pretty much by El Chapo, and the Sinaloa Cartel, are taking over Europe before their adversaries, which includes Los Zetas. All cartels are seeking where the new money is in 2012 with those economic challenges reducing the easy money usually found in America. At least that is the perception; but once Jenny and Doug arrive in Spain and investigate, they do find through traveling along the coast of Cote d’Azur, that they would have to be very covert to catch these Europeans, who have been grifting for many more years than most of the FBI cohorts with whom they share this gig. I won’t give away what excitement ensues, though, just in case the reader has not yet read this saga.

While visiting on assignment: Jenny and the Cartel's girlfriend decided to go
swimming.  This is the suit Jenny chose that set even the girlfriend aflame.

In between meetings with the cartel the men went four wheeling in their
jeeps:

Now that it is 2021, El Chapo has been caught January 8, 2016, and has been replaced by his son, Ishmael Gambado Garcia, who is reported to have a presence in cities ranging from Buenos Aires to New York. The Sinaloa Cartel continues to make billions of dollars from trafficking illicit narcotics to the US, Europe and Asia, experts say, according to the BBC and their reporters as of Oct 24, 2019. Since then, the FBI has along with the rest of the world, had to endure the Pandemic from the Covid-19 virus and until Spring of 2021, has pretty much had to function with operatives already in place wherever it is necessary to protect Americans.
As soon as it was obvious that President Trump would be usurped via grifters at the highest level in the world finessing the voting apparatuses; who were actually also the wealthiest (not surprisingly); the honest FBI agents were put on high alert and Doug was given the Texas/Mexican border and the security or lack thereof, in what is the largest state in the contiguous United States, and his and Jenny’s new home of Texas.
Once again, Jenny was working on one of her romance novels, but Doug knew he would need her, as would the citizens of America to get the accurate situation once he and she were on the border and actively keeping track on their assigned roles of watching, recording and reporting what was truly happening; where with Biden at the helm, was now essentially an open border once again.
So, my precious readers, be prepared to enjoy once again, one of the most energized couples who happily found one another while still young enough to make hay while the sun was either up or down, and still shining on their happy faces.
