Set among the cooling waterfalls and pools inside their hosts atrium, Jenny and Doug find true warmth in the honest and caring new friends found near Vallee Hermoso, Mexico.

Jenny even noticed some orchids, dendrobium she thought, though her Latin terminology could be off. They were so delicate and pale pink against the lushness of the green ferns and trees which grew unfettered through the opening of the Atrium.

The Hacienda included rooms which ran the length of the entire building with windows opening into the Atrium from each, save several which Jenny imagined were the bathrooms. Maria led them to the area furthest from the front entrance which was the open and airy kitchen.
“This room has been altered since my father’s day and now extends to the dining area and is open entirely to the Atrium. We found that all the cooks in the family preferred to hear and see the family while they cooked once the cooks were actually family members and not empleadoa.[1]"
What begins as a mini-fiesta becomes frightening and sensual, interwoven for the 40 something couple. He, an FBI CPA Agent and she, a free-lance journalist newly divorced.
